About Gran Pallars
Gran Pallars has the objective of consolidating the snow activities in the Pallars region and the joint operating of the Espot and Port-Ainé ski resorts, as well as a commercial agreement with Tavascan, which allows for a combined pass so that visitors can go to three different skiing areas, each one with its own identity, and enjoy all the skiing disciplines.
Gran Pallars is a corporation that currently manages the assets of the Catalan Institute of Finance, which includes the Espot and Port-Ainé ski resorts. This corporation consists mainly of businessmen from Pallars who are involved in the tourism industry and who, above all, are interested in improving the service of the ski resorts and guaranteeing their economic viability.
The Gran Pallars corporation is made up of 41 businessmen of the region, the Espot and Rialp Town Councils, as well as the Lleida Regional Council. This group of shareholders have made it possible to create a professional team with the aim of achieving the objectives of Gran Pallars, like for example the Catalan Institute of Finance.
The investments made by the Catalan Institute of Finance and the professional management of Gran Pallars in a field of public and private cooperation should guarantee that the following objectives are achieved:
